Deleting home directory paths
You can delete a home directory path when you do not want the storage system to use the path to resolve the location of users' CIFS home directories.
Steps 
1.
From the home page, double-click the appropriate storage system.
2.
Expand the Storage Virtual Machines hierarchy in the left navigation pane.
3.
In the navigation pane, select the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) and click Configuration > Protocols > CIFS.
4.
Click Configuration.
5.
In the Home Directories area, click Manage.
6.
In the Manage Home Directories dialog box, select the home directory path that you want to delete and click Delete.
7.
Click Save and Close.
